Mary Kay, 500HR RYT-E, has been devoted to the study and practice of yoga since 1989. She has trained with world-renown teachers in the Ashtanga, Anusara, Iyengar and Integrative Yoga Therapy and directed workshops and Yoga Alliance Certified teacher-training in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Arizona since 1998.
Mary Kay has developed and directed yoga therapy programs in health and holistic healing centers; including programs for sports injuries and spinal surgery recovery. She has also created yoga classes to meet the psycho-emotional needs of many of her clients.
Her teaching skills in the areas of asana and yogic philosophy combine with her background in clinical psychology to create an ever deepening devotion and dedication to the practice of yoga for her students. Mary Kay continues to share her knowledge and experience of yoga through weekly classes and an annual Yoga Alliance 200 HR Registered Yoga Teacher Training for the central coast of California. Students enrolled in the 200HR Yoga Teacher Training Program travel from local communities such as Solvang, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Goleta, Gaviota, and Morro Bay, as well as, out of state to participant.
In addition to being a long time yoga practitioner and teacher, Mary Kay has designed a line of clothing taking you from the yoga studio to lunch with friends or straight from your closet to dinner and a night on the town. The fabrics are soft, luxurious and easy to wear all day. All the basic yoga wear is made to stay in place, no matter what position you find yourself.
